She grew up immersed in Florence’s art-filled city and was stimulated from a young age to seek out the beauty surrounding her.
Attracted to painting and drawing, Virginia developed a passion for pastel painting which allowed her to experiment further with color and enhanced her skills as a budding artist. She was entirely self-taught until commencing a fine-arts high school where she mastered painting and sculpture techniques.
During her formative years she had various opportunities to assist with performances in Florentine theatres. These early experiences fostered her natural curiosity in the magic of theatrical scenography.
After completing her studies, the next natural step for Virginia was to enroll in a theatrical scenic design course at the Academic of Fine Arts in Florence.
Upon graduation and completion of her studies, she was asked to collaborate with Gabriele Lavia, who was staging a performance of Molière’s “The Imaginary Invalid”.
This work was the catalyst that parachuted Virginia into the world of stage makeup. She moved to Milan shortly thereafter to attend one of the foremost professional makeup schools in the city. In Milan, she perfected skills in stage makeup, camouflage, and special effect makeup. Recently, and over the course of the past few years, parallel to her ongoing work with makeup, Virginia also studied to become a qualified lash and brow designer and technician.
After several ongoing professional collaborations with local beauty studios, Virginia opened her namesake studio in 2020. Here she provides a range of modern beauty services, including lash and brow treatments, with the most-up-to-date technology available, including dermo-pigmentation and microblading.
She and her team are attuned to their clients’ desires to enhance their individual and unique beauty needs.
